Southwestern Community College Head Volleyball Coach Shaela Camp announced the recent signing of April Francom to the program for the 2020-21 season.

Francom, the daughter of Darin and Felicia Francom of Riverton, Utah, graduated from Mountain Ridge High School this month.

While at Mountain Ridge High School, Francom received Region VII Second-Team All-Region honors in volleyball in 2019, as well as academic all-region honors in 2017-18 and 2018-19. She was named the team's offensive player of the year in her freshman season, and in 2019 was selected to the Champions Challenge Utah Girls Volleyball Association 2019 All-Star team. Francom was a four-year member of Mountain Ridge High School's honor roll.

Francom intends to major in elementary education at Southwestern.
