East Union graduate Lundy Sanson will compete for the Southwestern Spartans during the 2026-27 academic year, as sports shooting is reintroduced at the college.

Sanson of Lorimor graduated from East Union in May 2025. He received a number of academic excellence awards during high school.

He is the son of Chad Sanson and Sara Sanson of Lorimor.
